The Fine Print

Cancelling, Rescheduling, Weather, Refunds, No-shows, and so on

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

  • For bookings of 9 or fewer people, you may reserve your preferred date and time online and pay at the time of booking. (Note that we are unable to reserve via email; it is not possible to pay cash at the time of the lesson.)
  • For larger or custom groups of 10 or more people, the cost is €45 per person. Please first register on our website ; once we have agreed on the date and time, we will create your booking for the requested number of people, you may pay through the website to confirm.

CANCELLATION and NO-SHOWS

  • You may cancel your lesson up to 48 hours days in advance of your booking time for a refund minus a €25 admin fee per reserved boat (this fee covers our unrecoverable expenses when you book).
  • If you cancel your lesson within 48 hours of the lesson start date, or fail to appear for your lesson, there is no refund.
  • If we must cancel your lesson due to inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule it during your stay. If we are unable to coordinate a alternative time, we will refund your payment minus a €5 admin fee. (Do remember that the weather on the lagoon changes continually, rain can clear within 30 minutes and you’ll enjoy a pleasant, dry lesson.)

RESCHEDULING

You may reschedule your lesson yourself up until 24 hours in advance at no charge; within 24 hours you must contact us to reschedule. You may reschedule within 4 hours of your lesson start time for €60.

NO-SHOWS

Your instructor will wait at your appointed meeting place for 30 minutes. If you do not appear or if we do not hear from you within that time, your lesson will be considered a NO SHOW and not eligible for refund. If you are going to be late, contact us on our LIVE CHAT and we will let your instructor know.

  • Note that if you arrive late for your lesson, your lesson time will be shortened as lessons run back to back and we will need to return for the next lesson.

TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE

Sign into your account, select the lesson, and cancel or adjust date the date at time. There is no charge to reschedule; once you cancel, we will issue your refund.
