Where to Meet

MEETING POINT 1: SACCA
For the Batellina Coda di Gambero (4 or fewer people) used for most lessons, you’ll meet at the  wooden gate of the Sacca Misericordia boat marina, below. You can Google the phrase “Corte Vecchia Cannaregio Venezia” for another version of the map.

For the larger Batelona Arzanà (for 5-6 people) or when your lesson includes more than one boat, your confirmation will specify one of two meeting points.

MEETING POINT 2: ORTO.
Meet us along the fondamenta waterfront in front of the Madonna dell’Orto church:

MEETING POINT 3: MORI. This is the meeting location when your lesson specifies the MORI meeting point, along the fondamenta at the Campo dei Mori.

PLEASE NOTE:
Row Venice takes place in a quiet part of the city where we can help you learn to row the Venetian way in peaceful surroundings. It may take some preparation on your part to understand how to best arrive (in a city that is confusing by nature, even for locals).

Please review maps carefully. Make sure you allow enough time to arrive traverse the city without hurrying and still to arrive a few minutes before your appointment. We will likely have another lesson following yours, and we want to make sure you get the benefit of your entire lesson.

• Make sure we have a lesson-day contact should you be delayed, become lost, or in case there’s is a turn in the weather. Text messages work best, but phone calls and e-mails are fine as well.

We thank you for your consideration, and look forward to rowing with you in Venice.
